Financial Controller | Acting CFO Responsibilities | MBA
Finance should make complex decisions clearer.
I lead finance and accounting in manufacturing and government contracting environments, connecting financial reporting, contracts, systems, and day-to-day operations so leaders can make better-informed decisions.
Current focus
Building financial clarity in demanding operating environments
As a Financial Controller with acting CFO responsibilities, I work across reporting, contract performance, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, controls, and executive analysis. My focus is making financial information accurate, useful, and connected to the decisions an organization needs to make.
Government contracting
Project accounting, billing, indirect rates, cost allowability, contract documentation, and audit readiness within regulated environments.
Manufacturing finance
Cost accounting, inventory, product costing, production activity, and operational analysis.
Business systems
Deltek Costpoint, NetSuite, QuickBooks, ADP Workforce Now, Excel, and the processes that connect them.
Areas of practice
Finance work that connects compliance, systems, and execution
Accounting leadership
Financial reporting, close management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, and decision support.
Government contract finance
Project cost accumulation, billing, revenue recognition, indirect rates, cost allowability, and audit readiness.
ERP and process improvement
Accounting system implementation and workflow improvement across finance, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, sales, and payroll.
Professional perspective
A practical path into finance
My career began in marketing, analytics, and commercial leadership before moving into operations and then fully into finance and accounting. That path gave me a broader view of how customers, revenue, systems, people, and financial decisions fit together.
Good finance leadership is not only about producing reports. It is about understanding the operation, strengthening the process, and communicating what the numbers mean.
