I am a finance and accounting leader based in the Salt Lake City area. I care about accurate work, clear expectations, useful systems, and treating people like people.
I did not take the straight-line route into accounting.
My career began in marketing and commercial leadership, moved through operations and accounting transformation, and eventually led to responsibility for finance and accounting. That path taught me to see financial decisions from several sides. A process that looks tidy in a report may feel very different to the person entering the order, managing a project, buying material, shipping a product, or answering a customer.
Today, I bring that broader operating perspective to reporting, cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, controls, contracts, systems, and executive decision support. I am also continuing my accounting education while working toward a MACC and pursuing CPA licensure and CMA certification.
Family keeps the ambition in perspective.
I value time with my family and the reality that a full life is more than a title or a spreadsheet. Away from work and school, I enjoy golf, performance cars and track events, traveling, cycling, and motorcycles. I am driven, but I do not believe professionalism requires sounding like a corporate brochure.
